Dead Sea Live is a live album by Russian rapper Morgenshtern,[1] released on February 13, 2026. The release is a live version of the mini-album Alisher, performed acoustically on a natural salt island in the middle of the Dead Sea. With this album, the artist solidifies his position in the "Russian rock" genre, demonstrating a complete abandonment of his usual sound and lifestyle.
In early 2025, Morgenshtern publicly spoke about his struggle with bipolar disorder and depression, after which he voluntarily underwent treatment at a rehabilitation center in Israel. The release of the mini-album Alisher on February 14, 2025, served as a kind of creative report on the psychotic episode he had experienced.[2]
A year later, on February 13, 2026, the artist decided to mark the "first anniversary of sobriety" and his self-reinvention with a symbolic concert.[3] The chosen location was a unique one—the salt islands of the Dead Sea, symbolizing the "bottom" from which the artist began his return.[4]
