Albert Lee Jones II (born November 15, 1975) is an American actor. He is known for his appearances in television series such as Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, White Collar, and the film American Gangster. These roles led to more prominent performances in the Netflix series Mindhunter[1] and The Night Agent[2] as well a leading role in the independent film Dark My Light. Jones has worked in both television and theatre in a versatile range of roles.

Early life and education
Jones was born in Seattle, Washington, to Dr. Albert Jones, Ph.D., and Sandra Hailey. He has one sister.
Jones was raised in Mercer Island, Washington, a suburb of Seattle, where he attended Mercer Island High School.
He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1997 with a degree in pre-law. During his time at Notre Dame, he played as a wide receiver for the Fighting Irish football team in coach Lou Holtz final season.[3] Following his undergraduate studies, Jones pursued formal acting training at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, where he earned a Master of Fine Arts degree.
