History

Alltroo was founded by former National Football League tight end Kyle Rudolph, NHL left wing Jason Zucker, and their philanthropic partners, including Jon Walburg, as a fundraising solution after charitable galas and golf tournaments were postponed in 2020. [2]

In June 2021, Zucker and Rudolph launched Alltroo. The name Alltroo comes from the word altruism. [3] The founders pivoted from exclusive $10,000 golf events to accessible $10 sweepstakes to democratize access to a large audience of fans and raise more money for charitable organizations. [4] [5]
