Animation vs. Minecraft Shorts (AvM Shorts) is an American Flash animated web series created by Alan Becker. The series originated from the 2015 animated short Animation vs. Minecraft, which was released on YouTube on December 14, 2015, and focuses on the adventures of the Stick Gang in the world of Minecraft.

Characters
- The Second Coming (TSC) / Orange: He is an orange stick figure accidentally created by the Animator in a 2014 short. He is the leader of the Stick Gang.[1]
- Red: A red stick figure that loves animals. He is reckless and most impulsive of the Stick Gang.
- Blue: A cyan stick figure that likes farming and brewing potions. He's been described as a "hippie" and has an addiction to Nether Wart in the Animation vs. Minecraft spin-off.
- Yellow: A yellow stick figure that is proficient in Redstone engineering.
- Green: A lime stick figure who likes music and is The Second Coming's best friend. He is arrogant and, as karma, suffers the most out of the Stick Gang.
- Purple: A purple stick figure that has had ups and downs in their relationship with the Stick Gang, before becoming an honorary member following the events of Season 3.
- King Orange: A tall, mango stick figure that wielded a staff and had plans to destroy the entirety of Minecraft in Season 3.

The series has alternated between episodic, slice of life adventures within the first half of season 1 and the entirety of seasons 2 and 4, as well as serialized story arcs in the second half of season 1 and the entirety of seasons 3 and 5.

Animation vs. Minecraft Shorts originally began with the short Animation vs. Minecraft (AvM), which was released on December 14, 2015.[2]
Reception
The series has been praised for it's storytelling without any dialogue from it's characters[3]
