Anuradha Pathak (born 1 August 1985) is an Indian academic specialising in Indian philosophy, particularly Advaita Vedanta. She is head and assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy at R.D.S. College, Muzaffarpur. She has also been associated with the National Service Scheme.[1]

Early life and education
Pathak was born on 1 August 1985 in India. She completed her higher education at Banaras Hindu University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2004 and a Master of Arts in philosophy in 2006. She completed her Ph.D. in philosophy from the same university in 2010.
She qualified for the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) in philosophy and received a Junior Research Fellowship related to Buddhist, Jaina, Gandhian and peace studies.
Career
Pathak began her academic career as a lecturer in philosophy at Bareilly College. She later served as a postdoctoral fellow at the Faculty of Arts, Banaras Hindu University, between 2015 and 2018.
In 2017 she joined M.J.K. College in Bettiah, Bihar, as an assistant professor of philosophy. She taught courses in Indian philosophy, ethics, metaphysics and philosophy of religion and also served as head of the Department of Philosophy.
In 2024 she joined R.D.S. College, Muzaffarpur, as an assistant professor and later became head of the Department of Philosophy. She has also served as assistant controller of examinations and as a coordinator for activities related to the National Service Scheme.
Research
Pathak's research focuses on Advaita Vedanta, Buddhist philosophy, and philosophy of psychology. Her research includes studies on consciousness, dream states in Indian philosophy, and interpretations of classical Vedantic texts.
She has presented research papers at national and international academic conferences related to Indian philosophy.
Publications
Pathak has published research articles in academic journals on Indian philosophy and Vedanta. Her work includes studies on consciousness, metaphysics, and classical Indian philosophical traditions.
She edited the book 'Aadhunik Bharatiya Darshanik – Bhag 1' (2025).(ISBN: 978-93-91975-60-9)[2] She has also contributed a chapter to course material prepared for the master's programme in Hindu studies at Indira Gandhi National Open University. [3]
Awards
In 2024, Pathak received the Best Research Paper Award for a paper titled 'Importance of Family in Indian Culture' at a national philosophical conference held in Bhagalpur.[4]
