Bency George is an Indian trade and economic diplomacy professional.[citation needed] Since October 2024, he has served on the Board of Directors of the India-GCC Trade Council, where he is a member of the Nominating and Governance Committee as well as the Free Trade Agreement and Human Resources Committee.[1]

George is the Director of Corporate International Relations at the Indian Economic Trade Organization (IETO), and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of International Trade and Delegation Federation of Chambers.[2][3] In this capacity, he has been involved in consultations in the Middle East aimed at collecting industry input for a proposed free trade agreement between India and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).[citation needed]
Earlier in his career, George was associated with several trade-focused organisations.[citation needed] He served as Director of the Asian Arab Chamber of Commerce for four years and held the position of Chief Operating Officer at the India Africa Trade Council between 2022 and 2023, where he also worked as Director of Global Markets and Missions.[citation needed]
