Comment: I can't see any sign that these sources are either independent or reliable. Almost all are unbylined, a few feature identical or near-identical text published in separate publications, and some contain language that would be extremely strange to see from an independent journalist. History
Bhikitia, founded in 1st October 2024, started as a Bengali language encyclopedia.[1] It later expanded to include an English version, growing its global reach.[3][6]
It is managed by the Bhikitia Authority, The authority is responsible for maintaining content quality, implementing policies, and supporting the community of contributors.[7] However, its role is not to control or govern users, but to provide guidance and ensure a safe and enriching information platform for all.[8]

Criticism
Since its launch, Bhikitia has faced criticism, particularly from some quarters of the online encyclopedia community. A notable controversy arose in November 2024 when a Bengali Wikipedia administrator Aftabujjaman labeled Bhikitia a "fake website"[9]. These claims were strongly denied by the Bhikitia Council, which emphasized its independence and adherence to transparent practices.[10]

- are independent: not connected to the subject, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
