Draft:FASE (Fast Entry System)

Fast-entry snowboard binding system From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

  • Comment: Still VERY promotional. (AI generated?) You say "has received multiple industry awards" but you don't say what they are, are they notable awards? Theroadislong (talk) 09:59, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
  • Comment: An extended advert. The sort of thing a company's PR team would love to see published. Not balanced, nothing negative, no-one has ever complained about this system.
The wording also looks LLM assisted since there is some wooliness about specifics. When some specifics are mentioned, such as in respect of That Snowboarding Blog, it's a blog site.
Then the endorsements - which is purely promotional as a concept - get sourced back to the manufacturer. ChrysGalley (talk) 19:27, 3 January 2026 (UTC)

FASE

FASE (Fast Entry System) is an independently developed snowboard binding step-in entry system designed to improve binding entry and exit speed while maintaining compatibility with standard snowboard boots and traditional two-strap binding interfaces.[1]

Binding system overview

Founded in 2018 and introduced commercially in the mid-2020s, FASE is positioned within the category of alternative snowboard binding entry technologies.[2]

The FASE system is licensed to multiple snowboard brands and integrated into select snowboard bindings.[3]

Rather than replacing the traditional two-strap binding interface, the system retains a conventional ankle strap and toe strap while modifying the entry and exit sequence. As such, FASE is classified as a modified two-strap binding system rather than a strapless, rear-entry, or boot-specific step-in system.[4][5]

Licensed brands

FASE is developed as an independent binding technology and licensed to multiple snowboard brands for use in selected binding models. The system is incorporated into existing binding platforms and does not replace brand-specific designs or adjustment features.[6][7]

Media coverage and reception

Coverage has generally focused on the system’s attempt to reduce entry and exit time.[8][9][10][11]

In 2025, the FASE Fast Entry System was included in Gear Patrol’s list of the 100 Most Important Product Releases of 2025.[12] The system has also received recognition from the FIT Sport Design Awards.[13]

It was acknowledged by Whiteslines Snowboarding[14][15] and The Inertia as being one of the best snowboard bindings of the year. [16]

Steve Weber from Board of the World had 2 issues with the FASE Bindings - when the buckles are frozen they can’t be moved and the horizontal highback adds some clunkiness.[17]

Rider involvement

Media coverage and product-related reporting have referenced testing and use of FASE-equipped bindings by professional snowboarders, including:[18]

Sandbech won the Natural Selection Tour while using them.[19]
