Flockhart Table for drug interactions with P450 enzymes From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Flockhart Table is a pharmacological drug interactions table named after its creator, the late Dr. David A. Flockhart, MD, PhD.[1] It uses a system of symbols and color codes to denote the strength of evidence (ie. medical literature) for evaluating a given drug's role in metabolizing a given enzyme, specifically the enzyme superfamily cytochrome P450. [2] The Flockhart Table is used as a reference for researchers, clinicians, and teachers to see the interactions of various pharmaceuticals with the P450 enzyme superfamily. [3] When using the table provided on the Indiana University, School of Medicine's website, [4] a list of references, dates of publication, inhibitors, and inducers are provided for each P450 enzyme. Each group of enzymes is further divided into Substrates, Inhibitors, and Inducers.

  • Comment: All the sources are just copies of the table, with at most one or two sentences about the actual table itself, therefore they fail the in-depth coverage requirement and don't count towards notability. JustARandomSquid (talk) 14:51, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
