History
Fremin Gallery was established in 2007 by Emmanuel Fremin. The gallery has developed an international roster of artists and has participated in art fairs and exhibitions both in New York and abroad.[2] In 2019, the gallery relocated to West 23rd Street in Chelsea.[2]
Fremin, a former model, transitioned into the art world and established the gallery with a focus on contemporary artists and diverse media practices.[1]
Exhibitions and program
Fremin Gallery has presented exhibitions by a range of contemporary artists, including musician Moby and artist Julian Lennon. These exhibitions have been covered in publications such as The New York Times, The Brooklyn Rail, Artnet News, and NY1 / Spectrum News.[3][4][5][6]
In addition to gallery exhibitions, Fremin Gallery has participated in public art initiatives, including installations in New York City's Garment District.[7]
