Sacred Jewel (Korean: 신의 구슬) is an upcoming South Korean historical action television series starring Ahn Bo-hyun, Lee Sung-min, Claudia Kim, Ha Yoon-kyung, and Yoon Kyun-sang. Set in the Goryeo Dynasty (1258 AD), amidst the 30-year war with the Mongol Empire, the series depicts a convoy's perilous journey to claim a sacred relic, paralleled by a princess's desperate bid to rescue them. It is scheduled to premiere on JTBC in 2026. It will also be available for streaming on Coupang Play and Amazon Prime Video.

Production

Director Jung Dae-yoon, who previously directed Reborn Rich (2022), is directing, and the screenplay is written by Jung Hyun-min, who previously wrote Nokdu Flower (2019). The series is produced by Celltrion Entertainment and SLL.[3]

Ahn Bo-hyun's agency, FN Entertainment, informed Newsen on March 29, 2024, that they had received an offer regarding his appearance in the series and was considering it. Lee Sung-min was also being considered.[5] Actress Ha Yoon-kyung joined the cast, according to an Osen interview on July 10.[1] On November 27, Bae Jeong-nam's agency stated that Bae would appear and film the series.[6] On November 30, Star News reported that Son Woo-hyeon would appear. Additionally, it also stated that Bae, Lee, Ha, Claudia Kim, and Ahn were confirmed their appearances.[2]

In February 2025, Ahn, Lee, Claudia, Ha, and Yoon Kyun-sang were officially confirmed to star.[3][4]

According to Sports Kyunghyang on November 13, 2025, the filming of the series was already concluded.[7]

Release

Sacred Jewel was originally scheduled for a second half of 2025 premiere on JTBC.[2] TV Report reported that the series will air in 2026.[8] It will also be available for streaming on Coupang Play in South Korea and on Amazon Prime Video internationally.[9]
