ImFusion GmbH is a German software company headquartered in Munich, Germany. The company develops software for medical image computing and provides consulting and research and development services in medical imaging and computer vision.[1][2]
The company developed the ImFusion SDK, a software development kit for medical image processing and visualization, including image processing, segmentation, registration, and real-time visualization of multi-dimensional medical data.[3]
The SDK is used in medical imaging workflows, including ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and other imaging modalities.[3]
ImFusion software has been used in academic research in medical imaging applications, including studies involving image processing and real-time medical imaging systems.[3][4][5]
The company also develops software tools for image-based data analysis and visualization used for prototyping imaging applications.[2]
In 2014, ImFusion introduced the RecFusion SDK, a development environment for integrating real-time 3D reconstruction into custom applications.[6]
In 2025, ImFusion entered into a strategic collaboration with Verasonics to integrate its medical image computing software with ultrasound research platforms.[7]
