Jeremy Utley is is the former Director of Executive Education at Stanford's d.school and co-author of Ideaflow: The Only Business Metric That Matters.[1] His research focuses on applications of Generative artificial intelligence, Design thinking, and Innovation.[2][3]

Education

Utley graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005 with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business. In 2009, he earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.[4]

Career and research

Utley served as the Director of Executive Education at Stanford’s d.school from 2010 to 2023. He has since been named an adjunct professor.[5][6]

Beyond academia, Utley co-hosts Beyond the Prompt, a podcast focused on exploring the business value of generative AI.[7] His research has been featured in such publications as The Wall Street Journal,[8], the Financial Times, [9] and Harvard Business Review. [10]
