Comment: Previously deleted multiple times, and this draft's sourcing isn't enough to justify a recreation. Only two sources, both from very weak sources, does not indicate that it meets notability to me. This needs stronger sourcing to meet the GNG. Origin
The character was created in 2018 by digital artist Gooseworx, who posted early renders on Instagram. The images initially attracted limited attention online.[1]
Rise in popularity
In early 2023, images of John Pork resurfaced and became the basis for a viral trend on TikTok.[2] The most common format displayed a smartphone incoming call screen showing John Pork’s name and image, accompanied by captions such as “John Pork is calling. Are you going to answer?”[1]
The meme spread across additional platforms, including Twitter and YouTube, where users created reaction videos, edits, and fictional narratives surrounding the character.[2]
