@Bonadea: Can you help me do this? Well, I still don't know and I always end up having doubts about the references I should or shouldn't include, even after reading the rules. Sebastiana M.Soares (talk) 18:44, 3 March 2025 (UTC)

  • Comment: Since the last decline just one additional reference has been added (MKT), a promotional reference that mentions the subject briefly, and it's not significant coverage. ChrysGalley (talk) 12:49, 4 April 2026 (UTC)
  • Comment: Announcements about joining football clubs are routine coverage that do not contribute to notability. Events like "show dislike of Honduran food" or "publicly having arguments with his girlfriend" are honestly too trivial for proving notability. TikTok awards do not meet the " well-known and significant award or honor" part of WP:ANYBIO. Tutwakhamoe (talk) 01:29, 8 June 2025 (UTC)
  • Comment: Well done on creating the draft, and it may potentially meet the relevant requirements (including WP:GNG, WP:ANYBIO) but presently it is not clear that it does.
As other reviewers have noted, Wikipedia's basic requirement for entry is that the subject is notable. Essentially subjects are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject. To properly create such a draft page, please see the articles ‘Your First Article’, ‘Referencing for Beginners’ and ‘Easier Referencing for Beginners’.
Please note that many of the references are not from sources that are considered reliable for establishing notability and should be removed (including blogs, company websites, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Spotify etc).
Additionally, the draft contains prose that is not of a standard appropriate for an encyclopaedia (also see WP:PEACOCK).
Also, if you have any connection to the subject, including being the subject (see WP:AUTOBIO) or being paid, you have a conflict of interest that you must declare on your Talk page (to see instructions on how to do this please click the link).
Please familiarise yourself with these pages before amending the draft. If you feel you can meet these requirements, then please make the necessary amendments before resubmitting the page. It would help our volunteer reviewers by identifying, on the draft's talk page, the WP:THREE best sources that establish notability of the subject.
It would also be helpful if you could please identify with specificity, exactly which criteria you believe the page meets (eg "I think the page now meets WP:ANYBIO criteria #3, because XXXXX").
Once you have implemented these suggestions, you may also wish to leave a note for me on my talk page and I would be happy to reassess. As I said, I do think this draft has potential so please do persevere. Cabrils (talk) 06:25, 7 March 2025 (UTC)
  • Comment: Please read this information, which explains why you should not add lots of sources for simple, uncontroversial facts. For instance, you have provided no fewer than 8 sources for the claim that he won a "TikTok Award" in 2023. However, five of the sources do not verify this, they just list all people who were nominated; two of the sources are the identical lists but with the winners' names bolded, and one is behind a paywall (that's the folha.uol.com.br source) – judging by the title, that contains no more information than any of the other seven. In other words, seven of the eight sources are pointless additions, since all they are used for is to verify his winning the award. (Note that since this is not a notable award it should in fact not be included in the draft, but it serves as an example.)
Please go through the draft and remove all superfluous sources. bonadea contributions talk 16:54, 3 March 2025 (UTC)

Edson Roberto Vieira Júnior (born September 12, 1995), professionally known as Juninho Manella, is a Brazilian digital entrepreneur, content creator, and professional footballer. He is the founder and lead host of Vosso Canal, one of Brazil’s largest sports-centric YouTube platforms, which has amassed over 7.3 million subscribers and billions of views.[2]

Manella’s national prominence is highlighted by his victory at the 2023 TikTok Awards in the "Quem Sabe Faz Ao Vivo" category and his consistent ranking among the Top 20 creators at the IBest Award (2024), recognized for his influence in the Brazilian digital market. [3]

Beyond his digital career, he gained significant media attention for his transition into professional football, serving as a striker for clubs such as Esporte Clube São Bento and Londrina EC. [4]

His cross-platform influence extends across Latin America, where he is also recognized for his philanthropic efforts and high-profile media presence in countries like Honduras[5]

Biography

Edson Roberto Vieira Júnior was born in Londrina, Paraná, on September 12, 1995. He is the son of football coach Edson Vieira.[6]

YouTube and Digital Influence

Manella is the creator and host of 'Vosso Canal,' a prominent Brazilian YouTube channel focused on football, which has amassed over 7.1 million subscribers.[7] His impact in the digital landscape earned him the 2023 TikTok Award in the 'Quem Sabe Faz Ao Vivo' category.[8][9] Additionally, he was recognized as one of the top 20 creators at the 2024IBest Award, a ranking that underscores the cultural relevance and influence of 'Vosso Canal' within the Brazilian market.[10] Beyond his primary platform, his secondary YouTube presence has also seen significant growth, surpassing 3 million subscribers.[11]

Professional Football Stints

In December 2020, Manella signed with Esporte Clube São Bento for a trial period ahead of the 2021 season.[12][13] The signing was a dual-purpose move, serving both as a professional athletic pursuit and a marketing campaign to leverage his massive digital following. Despite completing the pre-season, he was not registered for the Campeonato Paulista due to squad limit regulations. In September 2021, after a second trial for the Copa Paulista, he was released by the club.

Shortly after, he joined Londrina Esporte Clube for the 2022 season. During his four-month tenure at Londrina, he made his professional debut in a match against Cascavel in the Campeonato Paranaense, further documenting the experience for his channel, "Vosso Canal," before parting ways with the club in March 2022.

Personal Life and Controversies

Manella is married to Honduran influencer Roxanna Somaza. His relationship and activities in Honduras have frequently drawn media attention. In 2023, he became the subject of public debate after expressing his dislike for baleadas, a traditional Honduran dish. The incident, which was covered by the newspaper El País (Honduras), sparked mixed reactions; while some social media users defended his right to personal taste, others, including influencer Ana Alvarado (Lipstickfables), criticized his public reaction to the national dish.

Furthermore, Manella and Somaza have been involved in several publicized disputes during live broadcasts. These incidents were widely discussed by content creator Edy Nieblas and reported by major outlets such as Televicentro. Despite these controversies, he has engaged in philanthropic efforts, including supporting local causes in San Pedro Sula. His digital presence as a YouTuber and TikToker has granted him significant recognition across Latin America, extending his influence beyond the Brazilian market. [5][14][15][16][17]
