Early life
Azim was born and raised in Murshidabad, West Bengal, India. He dropped out of college and attempted three initial business ventures, which were unsuccessful. He subsequently moved to the Middle East, working in Dubai and Saudi Arabia, before returning to India with ₹3 lakh in savings to pursue entrepreneurship in the education sector.[1]
Career
EME Academy
In 2017, Azim founded EME Academy in Kolkata, focusing on skill development and professional training.[2] The institute offers courses in digital marketing, data science, SAP, web development, artificial intelligence, and graphic design. The academy operates primarily in Eastern India and has expanded to include a classroom presence in London, United Kingdom.[3]
The academy has trained over 5,000 students, facilitating corporate placements in multinational companies such as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), IBM, Accenture, Capgemini, and Wipro.
Other ventures and coaching
In addition to EME Academy, Azim established Yellow Tea, a venture designed to connect rural tea producers with urban markets, as well as Hospice Properties. He is also active as a business consultant and motivational speaker in West Bengal, working with early-stage startups and youth entrepreneurs.[4][5] He is the author of a book titled How to Become a Successful Businessman.
