Early life
Manzorro is from Cádiz, specifically Chiclana de la Frontera. She has a background in musical theatre [1] and received training at the conservatory in Chiclana.[2] She developed an interest in music at an early age and composed her first song at the age of 16.
Career
She gained attention after appearing as a finalist in the Tour Music Fest with her cover of "Catalina" by Rosalía in the Singers and Groups category. Manzorro represented Chiclana de la Frontera, her hometown, in the Gala ACUTELAN 2025.[3] Additionally, she performed at the Concert Music Festival.[4]
Benidorm Fest
In October 2025, LUCYCALYS was announced as one of the participants for Benidorm Fest 2026, set to perform "T Amaré" with DJ Tony Grox.[1] "T Amaré" explores themes of love and combines flamenco, pop, and electronica. Their staging incorporated Andalusian visuals and summer-inspired scenery.[2] They won both their semi-final and the grand final with a total of 166 points.[5] The duo won €100,000 and a trip to Miami to work with a music team through a Univision prize.[6] They also won the "Sirenita de Oro" trophy, which was reintroduced for Benidorm Fest's fifth anniversary.[7] [8]
