Dutch RF test and measurement manufacturer From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

MegiQ is a Dutch manufacturer of RF test and measurement instruments, headquartered in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

History

MegiQ originated as a spinoff from Codec Telecom, an RF consulting firm based in the Netherlands that provided RF development services for consumer electronics and wireless devices. After developing several RF test instruments for internal use, Codec Telecom transitioned into MegiQ in 2013 to commercialize these instruments.

Products

MegiQ produces two main product lines covering 400 MHz to 6 GHz:

Vector Network Analyzers (VNA)

MegiQ's VNA line is designed for impedance measurement, antenna matching, and S-parameter analysis of RF circuits and antennas. Models include the VNA-0440 and VNA-0460 series, with variants offering extended frequency range and port functionality. The instruments have been used in academic research including microwave sensor characterization[1] and wireless antenna development for structural health monitoring applications,[2] as well as in university RF engineering education.[3]

Radiation Measurement Systems (RMS)

MegiQ's Radiation Measurement Systems enable antenna radiation pattern measurement, Total Radiated Power (TRP), antenna gain, efficiency, and Effective Radiated Power (ERP) without requiring a dedicated anechoic chamber. These compact turnkey systems operate in standard laboratory environments and cover frequency bands used by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa, and cellular IoT devices. The systems have been used in independent academic research for antenna characterization and wireless signal propagation studies.[4][5]
