Mike Rafi is an American personal injury attorney, legal commentator, and the founder of Rafi Law Firm, a personal injury law firm based in Atlanta, Georgia.[1] He is known for his legal education content on social media platforms including TikTok and YouTube, where his videos have collectively accumulated over one billion views.[2] Since founding his firm in 2015, Rafi and his team have recovered more than $200 million in settlements and verdicts for clients.[3]

Early life and education
Rafi graduated cum laude from Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.[4] While at Furman, he served as captain of the Mock Trial Team and interned for U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham.[5] He earned his Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2011.[6] During law school, he competed on the National Moot Court and Mock Trial Teams, won the Ralph J. Beaird Closing Argument Competition and the Talmadge Moot Court Competition, and was named Outstanding Mock Trial Advocate of his class.[7] He was inducted into the National Order of the Barristers and the Lumpkin Inn of Court.[8]
Legal career
After law school, Rafi joined Troutman Sanders LLP, an international law firm, where he defended corporations in personal injury and commercial litigation, including Georgia's largest electric utility.[9] The firm selected him as its Legal Aid Fellow, through which he represented low-income individuals in housing cases.[10] He left defense work and founded Rafi Law Firm in Atlanta in 2015.[11] The firm handles personal injury cases including car accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death, and premises liability claims.[12]
Recognition and awards
Rafi has been named a Georgia Rising Star by Super Lawyers annually from 2016 to 2026.[13] He has received recognition from Law.com, Atlanta Magazine, and Georgia Trend's Legal Elite.[14]

Rafi began posting legal education content on social media platforms including TikTok (@mikerafi), YouTube, and Instagram.
