Net at Work

Net at Work is a North American business technology consulting and managed IT services firm headquartered in New York City. Founded in 1996, the company provides implementation and support for enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), and human capital management (HCM) software, alongside managed IT and cybersecurity services for mid-market organizations.[1]

History

Net at Work was founded in 1996 by brothers Alexander Solomon and Edward Solomon, who serve as co-presidents. The company initially provided network infrastructure and IT support services before expanding into business application consulting and software implementation.[2]

In 2022, the firm received investment from private equity firm Lovell Minnick Partners to fund a national expansion strategy.[3] Between 2024 and 2026, the company acquired several regional service providers, including Kensium’s Acumatica practice, LLB Partners, BHE Consulting, and OnPar Technologies.[4]

Business Model

The company operates a "dual-play" model that integrates infrastructure management (managed IT) with business applications (ERP/CRM). In a 2026 interview with CRN, co-president Alexander Solomon stated that this model is intended to provide a singular point of accountability for mid-market organizations, reducing conflicts between separate infrastructure and application vendors.[1]

Operations

The firm's technical services are structured around several practice areas:

  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): Services for Sage (100, 300, 500, X3, Intacct), NetSuite, and Acumatica platforms.
  • Human Capital Management (HCM): Implementation of Rippling and Sage HRMS systems.[5]
  • Managed IT and Cybersecurity: Services based on a Zero Trust security model and Microsoft technology stack.
  • Advisory: Software selection, vendor evaluation, and fractional Chief Information Officer (CIO) services.

Recognition

Net at Work is featured in several industry rankings:

  • CRN Solution Provider 500: Ranked annually since 2011, reaching No. 246 in 2025.[6]
  • Accounting Today Top 100 VARs: Consistently ranked within the top 10 positions in the annual list of value-added resellers.[7]
  • Channel Futures MSP 501: Included in the annual ranking of global managed service providers.[8]
