History

Pocket Sized Hands was founded in February 2017 by three Abertay University students: Gary McCartan, Alan Yeats, and Rory Thomson. The company originated from their work on Honeypot Espionage, a VR multiplayer game that was a finals in Microsoft Imagine Cup [3]

Initially focused on VR development, the studio pivoted to become a co-development around 2019-2020. The company has worked with publishers including Oddworld Inhabitants on Oddworld: Soulstorm(2021)[4], The Bendy (franchise)[5], Gestalt: Steam and Cinder[6] and Clive 'N' Wrench[7]

The studio also developer and maintained Pocket Mortys.[8] from 2021 til they announced it's shut down on April 2026.[9]
