ASUS Vivobook Pro – creator-oriented consumer laptops ASUS ExpertBook – business-oriented line
Zenbook Pro – premium ultrabook line with creative focusHistory
ASUS launched the ProArt line in 2011 with the PA246Q, a 24-inch P-IPS monitor aimed at content creators requiring high color fidelity[1].[13] In 2013, the company released the PQ321[14]. This was followed by several models, including the 32-inch quantum dot PA329Q (2015)[15], the portable OLED display PQ22UC (2018)[16], and the PA32UCG (2020), which featured mini LED backlighting, HDR-1600 certification, Dolby Vision support, and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The PA32UCG has been described by industry reviewers as a reference-grade display for HDR mastering and post-production[17][18].[19]
By 2019, the ProArt brand expanded into the laptop segment. At CES that year, ASUS introduced the StudioBook series[20][21], followed by new ProArt laptops at IFA Berlin, including the ProArt StudioBook One and ProArt StudioBook Pro X, marking the establishment of a broader ProArt laptop portfolio[22][23].[24]
In 2021, ASUS introduced a unified visual identity system for the ProArt brand. The company described the concept with the phrase “Pro is the bedrock of creativity, and art is the art from creators.” ProArt also collaborated with design studios to develop its branding and visual communication system.[25]
In 2023, ASUS expanded the ProArt series beyond displays and laptops into PC components, including motherboards, graphics cards, AiO liquid coolers, and chassis, with a focus on thermal management, acoustics, and industrial design[26][27][28][29]
ASUS has collaborated with organizations such as Adobe, Dolby, and Pantone in developing the ProArt series to align with professional creative workflows across displays, computing hardware, and related tools[30][31].[32]
