Sharing Excess is an American 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2018 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It collects surplus food from farms, wholesalers, grocery stores, and other food businesses and distributes it to food banks, food pantries, and other community organizations.[1][2]

The nonprofit was founded by Evan Ehlers while he was a student at Drexel University. It initially operated in Philadelphia before expanding operations to other cities in the United State.[3]
