Shouxin (full name: Guangdong Shouxin Environmental Protection Materials Technology Co., Ltd., Simplified Chinese: 广东首信环保材料科技有限公司) is a chemical company located in Wanjiang Subdistrict, Dongguan, China. The company specializes in the R&D and production of polyacrylamide[1] and was established in 2007. It has offices in the Poly Duhui Plaza, Nancheng District, Dongguan.[2][3]

Comment: Sources need to be INDEPENDENT of the company being talked about - unfortunately all of these seem to be PR based pieces produced by / with the company itself, rather than independent pieces of journalism. The other sources are either broken links (the Sohu dot com pages), or a primary source (the patent). Until we have 2-3 independent secondary sources, from pages which link successfully, there is no way that we can judge notability and approve the article. History
Initially founded in 2007 as a water treatment chemical supplier, the company shifted its focus to polyacrylamide production in 2008. By 2019, its client base included over 100 listed companies and Fortune 500 enterprises. In 2023, it achieved an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons and established industry-academia collaborations with universities such as Chongqing University.[4] The same year, it was elected as the chair unit of the National Functional Polymer Industry Committee. In 2024, the company obtained CNAS laboratory certification and was recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise. Industry reports indicate its products treat approximately 2.5 billion tons of wastewater annually. By 2025, it received the "Top 100 Enterprises" award at the China International Environmental Protection Exhibition.[2][5]
Products
The company's flagship products include cationic, anionic, non-ionic, and zwitterionic polyacrylamide, widely used in wastewater treatment, papermaking, mining, and oilfield extraction. Its proprietary "Scale Typing" technology offers over 100 customized product models. The microbial production process, co-developed with the team of Academician Shen Yinchu [6]and Phil S. Baran.[7][8][9]
