The company participated in Y Combinator's Summer 2020 accelerator program.[3]

In 2023, SiPhox Health launched a mail-in blood testing service and raised $27 million in funding from Intel Capital and Khosla Ventures.[3][4]

Products and technology

Mail-in testing service

SiPhox Health operates a mail-in blood testing service in which users collect samples at home and send them to CLIA/CAP-certified laboratories for analysis.[2] The tests measure biomarkers related to cardiovascular, metabolic, hormonal, and inflammatory health.[2]

SiPhox Home device

The company is developing a countertop diagnostic device called SiPhox Home, which uses silicon photonics and microfluidics to analyze blood samples collected via finger prick.[5] The device was demonstrated at CES 2023.[6]

Technical details of the silicon photonics system were presented at the 2023 IEEE Silicon Photonics Conference.[7]
