History

Snabbit was founded in 2024 by Aayush Agarwal, who previously served as Vice President and Chief of Staff at quick-commerce company Zepto.[1] The platform initially launched operations in Mumbai before expanding to Bengaluru, where it relocated its headquarters. Snabbit released its mobile application in September 2024, enabling users to book household services through their smartphones.

The company operates on a hyperlocal deployment model, dividing cities into micro-markets defined by walkability, traffic patterns, and neighbourhood layouts to facilitate rapid service delivery.[2]

Services

Snabbit offers household services including home cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, kitchen preparation, and general household chores. The platform uses a time-based pricing model, charging customers an hourly rate rather than per task, with services priced at approximately ₹150 per hour.[3]

The company has announced plans to expand into additional service categories including cooking, childcare, and elderly care.

Workforce

Snabbit operates through a network of trained women professionals, referred to internally as "experts." The company follows a full-stack approach, sourcing, screening, training, and onboarding all workers directly rather than operating as a third-party marketplace. Workers undergo background verification including Aadhaar KYC checks, criminal record screening, and a mandatory training programme.[4]

Workers on the platform earn between ₹25,000 and ₹30,000 per month depending on their hours and location, and the company guarantees a minimum monthly income for all workers on its network.[5]

Funding

Snabbit has raised approximately $56 million across four funding rounds since its founding in 2024.

  • Seed Round (May 2024): Approximately $1 million led by Nexus Venture Partners.[6]
  • Series A (January 2025): $5.5 million led by Elevation Capital, with participation from Nexus Venture Partners and angel investors including Gaurav Munjal, Vidit Aatrey, Sanjeev Barnwal, and Niraj Singh.[7]
  • Series C (October 2025): $30 million led by Bertelsmann India Investments, with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Elevation Capital, and Nexus Venture Partners. This round valued the company at approximately $180 million, up from $80 million five months earlier.[9]

As of March 2026, Snabbit was reported to be in discussions for a Series D funding round at a valuation of approximately $450 million.[10]

Operations and Growth

Snabbit operates across multiple Indian cities including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Gurugram, Noida, and Pune. The platform grew from approximately 1,000 daily bookings in May 2025 to over 10,000 daily bookings by October 2025.[11] By February 2026, the platform was reported to be processing over 800,000 orders per month.[12]

The company reports a customer retention rate of 30 to 35 percent and a customer acquisition cost below ₹500.[13]

Market and Competition

Snabbit operates in India's on-demand home services market, which industry analysts estimate at approximately $60 billion and project could grow to $100 billion by 2029.[14] The company competes primarily with Urban Company and Pronto. Platforms in this segment aim to bring organised, technology-enabled access to household services that have historically been arranged through informal channels.

The instant home-help category — which includes Snabbit, Urban Company's InstaHelp, and Pronto — collectively surpassed two million monthly orders in early 2026.[15]
