Stiffness After Death (often abbreviated as SAD) is an American musical comedy band formed in Prescott, Arizona on August 5th, 2023.[1] Their work consists of electronic music that blends elements from a wide range of genres, chiefly techno, disco, jazz, pop, rock, and classical music.

To date, the band has released three albums—Requiem Noctis (2023)[2], Rigor Mortis (2024)[3], and a collaboration with Gay Rights Bastard[4] entitled 21+ Proud (2025)[5]—two EPs—Micah's Garden (One Must Imagine) and On Another Planet (Instrumental)—and 13 singles all under the label Two-and-a-Half Quirked Up White Boys.[6] Out of their 13 singles, six are instrumental, and four were created for use as background music in various short films and comic analysis videos posted between February 2025 and February 2026 by YouTuber CW Tucker—Double Bogey Shotgun (Instrumental)[7], Narrative for a Dead Man[8], Missing My Funky Monkey[9], and The Ultimate Trio (Instrumental)[10]
