Yangdok Hot Spring Resort (Korean: 양덕온천문화휴양지) is a tourist resort complex in Yangdok County, South Pyongan Province, North Korea.[1] The resort was developed under the direction of Kim Jong-un and is one of the country's largest modern recreational facilities.[2] It includes indoor and outdoor hot spring baths, hotels, ski slopes, and other leisure amenities.[3][4] The resort was built as part of North Korea's efforts to expand domestic tourism and recreational infrastructure.[4]

History
The land formerly had a greenhouse complex and a catfish farm. It was demolished in 2018 and construction started in 2019. The construction took less than an year.[5]
It was opened in December 2019.
