Wikipedia and copyright
Hello TheGreatEditor024! Your additions to Elmech EM 992 have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license—to request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § Licensing.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 02:20, 28 March 2026 (UTC)

editing my userspace
I appreciate the help you provided, even if I don’t remember where u came from - but please don’t change the structure I have it as, such as moving the infobox template and capitalizing the headings. I understand why u did and I’m not trying to be mean or assume bad faith. this is also against WP:NOBAN. — Aurora :3 • (📭|edits) 23:00, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
- Well I came from Wikipedia Help desk. You said "i have a problem with {{userboxside}}" and also added "feel free to edit the page". So, I edited the page.
- I am sorry if I messed up. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 01:58, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
- I capitalized the heading because it felt a bit weird. I didn't know that it was on purpose. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 02:01, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
- Sorry, I guess I tried to improve the wrong infobox. No wonder, you got confused. I did mess up. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 03:35, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
- oh. i linked which page i wanted help with, but maybe u didn’t see that. maybe i should’ve put it in the comment itself rather than the title.
- thats on me as well a bit, since im autistic. that may make me say or put things in an unconventional way. i was making sure u knew the guidelines, but it appears it was just a misunderstanding. that’s goofy.
- no bad blood at all! 😁 — Aurora :3 • (📭|edits) 05:45, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
- Nope, It's my fault. I didn't see the link. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 06:16, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
- I’m not the best person to help with this specific userbox. Also, just a note that some of the wording on your page may come across as offensive to others, so you might want to review it in line with Wikipedia’s guidelines on user pages. Another editor at the Help Desk should be able to assist further. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 03:48, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
- no, no you didn’t mess up! i wouldn’t put it like that.
- which sentence(s) makes u feel that way? — Aurora :3 • (📭|edits) 05:38, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
- Your references. You wrote
- Christianity is the biggest religion in the world, with over 2B adherents. alongside Islam, they both make up of the entire world’s stupidity."
- (You should know that this statement hurts almost billions of people)
- Btw are you anti-communist or anti-capitalist. you wrote both lol TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 06:19, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
- I would advice that it would be great if you removed Anti-Islam, Anti-Christian and Anti-Judaism from your infobox :religious views. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 06:23, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
- @Tonkarooson I'm inclined to agree here (I spotted this discussion when I happened to pop in to TGE's talk page.) Wikipedia is not a soapbox for anybody's political or religious ideologies; and we're all really better off if we don't talk about such things at all. There is no need for any of us to know where you stand on such issues. We're all here to build an encyclopedia, which by its very nature requires we leave our ideologies and biases at the door (as much as such a thing is possible). It's an "I [won't] show you mine if you [won't] show me yours" sort of thing. (This obviously doesn't apply to your statement of support for queer rights; human rights aren't, or rather shouldn't be, a political issue.) Athanelar (talk) 17:02, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
- ok that’s fine. there’s also WP:UPYES. is the stuff on my main userspace fine?
- i want to keep it but i’ll hide it. — Aurora :3 • (📭|edits) 03:02, 18 April 2026 (UTC)
- More relevant is WP:UPNOT which says
there is broad agreement that you may not include in your user space material that is likely... to give widespread offense
which stating that something like 4 billion people "make up the entire world's stupidity" certainly is (even if, as I have a hunch is the case, Wikipedia's editor-base generally trends toward atheism) - I would also say you're leaning a bit towards
excessive personal information unrelated to Wikipedia
per WP:USERBIO. I'm not going to unilaterally tell you you should trim any of it, but I would just like to gently point you in the direction of WP:NOTSOCIALMEDIA;user pages... should be used primarily to present information relevant to work on the encyclopedia. Limited autobiographical information is allowed, but user pages do not serve as personal webpages,
- Like a lot of younger queer editors I've seen around, you seem to be mostly using your userpage like you would use a Carrd link in your twitter bio. This is appropriate to some extent (we definitely need to know your preferred pronouns so we can interact with you respectfully, of course) but things like your eye colour and a list of philosophies you subscribe to are leaning toward being out of scope. There's nothing specific I could tell you to remove in order to fix it, because it's more of an evident philosophical approach to the way you're approaching the concept of a userpage. Athanelar (talk) 12:45, 18 April 2026 (UTC)
- yes, of course. I apologize for this. I’ll work on it now. — Aurora :3 • (📭|edits) 22:45, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
- wait. lemme just make sure here. which should i exactly get rid of? i think it’ll be the religious part, right? — Aurora :3 • (📭|edits) 22:47, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
- Like I said, There's nothing specific I could tell you to remove in order to fix it, because it's more of an evident philosophical approach to the way you're approaching the concept of a userpage. I don't think it's as simple as 'remove X and Y and it'll be better,' that's why I just wanted to give you some general pointers as to what the purpose of a userpage here is supposed to be. Athanelar (talk) 23:09, 19 April 2026 (UTC)

- i didnt exactly think wp:soap applied there but i guess it does. i kept it so i can put it somewhere else. until then, i’ll fully remove it. i’d rather not make it a big deal. i messed up, i apologize for that, i just wanted to share my opinions. — Aurora :3 • (📭|edits) 03:17, 18 April 2026 (UTC)
On sockpuppets
Please don't announce to users that they've been reported to WP:SPI. There's no need for them to know. If the check comes out positive, then they get blocked as a sock and that's done; if the check comes out negative, then they never know they were under suspicion. In the best case scenario where the user is innocent, then you'll distress them by implying they're in some kind of trouble. If the user is guilty, then you might let them know someone is 'on their scent' and prompt them to abandon the account and try evading their block with other accounts (which a checkuser should be able to check anyway, but in any case there's no reason to tip them off.)
There is a reason why SPI does not mandate that we inform people they've been reported, unlike ANI. There's generally no need, nor nothing to be gained, from users 'responding' on their SPI. Athanelar (talk) 16:57, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
- I am sorry, I was just trying to help, but I shouldn’t have said that directly. I'll handle it properly next time TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 17:04, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
- Don't worry about it, I totally understand, I just wanted to make you aware for the future! Hi and I am so sorry for the late response with regards to your query on Deaflympics. I regret to inform you that I am not much active in Wikipedia these days and I am busy with the work commitments. I am also facing indefinite ban from editing Wikipedia as well since February 2025. I have decided to shift my focus into other stuff. I did have a passion and vision on creating as many Wikipedia articles related to Deaflympics as I realised that the coverage on Deaflympic athletes in Wikipedia was comparatively lesser than the coverage about Olympic and Paralympic athletes. I made the initiative on my own to contribute from my end to write up articles related to Deaflympics. My interest in Deaflympics began in 2017 and I had created over 100 biographical articles about Deaflympic athletes. Unfortunately, there is a lack of awareness on Deaflympics at a broader level due to lack of interest among common audience and also due to lack of broadcasting rights on Deaflympics.
One thing I can tell you that I remember on how hard it was to convince the fellow Wikipedia editors in order push some high profile Deaflympic events on the front cover page of Wikipedia's ITN section. My nominations on both 2019 Winter Deaflympics and 2025 Summer Deaflympics are documentary proof for that. If you can look at the comments under my failed ITN nominations under Wikipedia:In_the_news/Candidates/December_2019#(Closed)_2019_Winter_Deaflympics and Wikipedia:In_the_news/Candidates/November_2025#2025_Summer_Deaflympics, you can understand how people were not much bothered to search about or give prominence for these kind of multi-sport events. I also understood that many Wikipedians did not have much idea about what Deaflympics really was and the lack of media coverage on Deaflympics also played a pivotal role. I am glad that at least you are trying to take up this stiff challenge and hope you can find success. Don't give up hope on this and I hope that I can try to support you in this despite my current editing restrictions. I would love to once again contribute to Wikipedia editing, but only time will tell. Abishe (talk) 08:02, 3 May 2026 (UTC)

Removal of mainspace to draft redirects
Hello there, this isn't a big issue, but I noticed something. When you moved the Adv Owais Pechkar article back to the draft space, you forgot to leave a speedy deletion tag on the left over redirect. it's not a big issue and only took a second to fix, but it's one of those things that people sometimes forget to do, so I wanted to let you know. DYK for Sheep farming in Ukraine
On 14 May 2026, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Sheep farming in Ukraine, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that sheep farming in Ukraine declined from 6.4 million sheep in 1938 to about 0.7 million in the early 21st century? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Sheep farming in Ukraine. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Sheep farming in Ukraine), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.

New page reviewer granted

Hi TheGreatEditor024, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right to your account. This means you now have access to the page curation tools and can start patrolling pages from the new pages feed. If you asked for this at requests for permissions, please check back there to see if your access is time-limited or if there are other comments.
This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Before you get started, please take the time to:
- Add Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers to your watchlist to follow NPP-related discussions
- If you use Twinkle, configure it to log your CSDs and PRODs
- If you can read any languages other than English, add yourself to the list of reviewers with language proficiencies
You can find a list of other useful links and tools for patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Resources. If you are ever unsure what to do, ask your fellow patrollers or just leave the page for someone else to review – you're not alone! signed, Rosguill talk 00:28, 5 June 2026 (UTC)

Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and reliable sources to properly support the content. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:43, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- I guess you are mistaken. The only contribution I did was adding an orphan tag to the article (draft).TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 13:47, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- Are you using Twinkle to tag pages? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:52, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- Nope, I use Special:NewPagesFeed. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 13:54, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- No, I mean how do you apply the template? Do you do it manually by editing the source, or do you use some sort of tool like Twinkle? I'm trying to understand the work flow that resulted in you marking this ColanXP article as patrolled. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:56, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- manually using {{uncategorized}} and {{orphan}} TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 13:57, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- And having manually applied the template, did you then click the review button (
) on the Page Curation toolbar? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:05, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- Yes TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 14:06, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- And did you think the article was ready for the main space? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:09, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- Well, I felt like it was not ready, but I thought that other editors make see it as a stub, so I just reviewed it. well, I really need some confidence. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 14:14, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- I guess I have to read WP:BOLD again TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 14:14, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- It isn't a stub. And even if it were, that wouldn't matter: stubs are subject to the exact same notability and verifiability requirements as any other article.
- This article cites 3x Twitter/X and 1x blog. None of these are reliable sources. What's more, the vast majority of the information is completely unreferenced. And because of this, there is also no evidence at all that the subject is in any way notable. For these reasons, the article is emphatically not ready to be published.
- New Page Patrol is an important job and comes with great responsibility. It is the last line of defence, before a new article gets released to public consumption (and also becomes available to search engines). Once NPP has signed off an article, no other quality control is applied. Therefore NPP should only approve articles that are ready to be approved. By clicking on the review button, that is you saying this article is 'good to go', and that removes it from the NPP feed so no other reviewer will look at it. I only happened to catch this one, because that page was already on my watch list because of some previous issues I've been dealing with.
- Sorry, I'm not having a go at you, I'm genuinely trying to help. It's really great that you've volunteered to work on NPP, we sure need help there (!), but please be careful with the reviewer permission, it is a powerful one. Only approve articles that you really mean to approve, and if you're not sure about anything, don't hesitate to ask (either me or any other admin or NPP'er).
- Happy edi... I mean, reviewing! :) -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:26, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- Okay, I'll be really careful next time. tbh I though the review button was just like "I saw it". I am really sorry. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 14:31, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- No problem, I'm sure you didn't do it on purpose. We all make mistakes (I sure do!), but that's great because that's how we learn. Like now you learned that the
button means 'reviewed', and I learned that the hover text displayed over that button perhaps needs to be clearer. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:37, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- btw I really have a doubt. Like what is that gray box with a heart a delete button, etc beside my screen when I review an article. And how to use it. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 14:40, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- That is the Page Curation toolbar, which becomes available to you when you get the NPP permission, see Page Curation/Help which tells you in broad terms how to use it. Or if you want to learn more thoroughly (highly recommended!), you can go to New pages patrol/School and sign up for some 1:1 training. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:48, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 14:49, 5 June 2026 (UTC)

Pending changes acceptance
Hi, I’m wondering why you accepted this edit, made by a TA and making changes without providing a reliable source? Indeed if you look at the history, they’ve been edit warring this change for the past few days… Danners430 tweaks made 09:36, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
- Unaccepted. Well, I kinda messed up. Will be careful next time. Thank you for noticing it. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 10:08, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
My IP address is blocked
Hello @Materialscientist, It seems like you have blocked my IP address, on charges that my account uses a VPN or another similar proxy service. But, I don't use them. I'd really appreciate if you could explain why you felt like that, or can you provide the source. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 13:06, 7 June 2026 (UTC)

Request reason:
Yamla responded in the UTRS appeal that my IP address belongs to ProtonVPN, but I am not using a VPN nor any other similar proxies. I am currently accessing Wikipedia using the hostel Wi-Fi. How do I solve this issue.
Decline reason:
No longer blocked. voorts (talk/contributions) 23:47, 7 June 2026 (UTC)

Scent of Time move
Hello. It appears you attempted to move Scent of Time (TV Series 2023) to draftspace, but instead moved the page Scent of Time. I'm not entirely sure what happened here. I'm guessing you moved a redirect instead of the actual article? --Gert7 (talk · contribs) 20:32, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
- Well, I moved the page Scent of Time because it contained many issues. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 03:43, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
Unblock request and guidance

Request reason:
Caught by a web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. I am currently using the hostel Wi-Fi, I don't understand why I can't edit when I am using my hostel Wi-Fi, but I can edit normally when I am using mobile data. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 11:22, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You don't give the IP address involved, but the hostel is probably using a webhost or proxy for its internet access. It is not permitted to edit via a webhost/proxy(though merely reading Wikipedia is not affected). You'll need to keep using your mobile data to edit. 331dot (talk) 15:02, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
