You Liang was born in Singapore.^[3] They began their musical activities during their university years by joining an A cappella circle. Although they originally aspired to be a singer, they developed an interest in Electronic music creation and shifted their focus toward composition.

They graduated from the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies at Keio University^[4]. Following their graduation, they provided music for the underground idol scene in Tokyo, which served as a catalyst for shifting their primary focus to Electronic dance music (EDM) production.^[5]

You Liang has released music through international record labels including Blanco y Negro Records, Black Hole Recordings,^[6] Revealed Recordings,^[7] and Smash The House.^[8] Their releases have charted on industry platforms such as Beatport^[9] and Traxsource.^[10] They are also a radio show host on Data Transmission,^[11] and holds residencies at Womb^[12] and Zerotokyo.^[13]

In 2025, You Liang was named a Top 10 winner in Pete Tong DJ Academy's Future Talent Awards, and appeared at the International Music Summit (IMS) in Ibiza.^[14] Their single "Not The Same" marked their first piano house release and first Spotify/Apple Music editorial playlist placements, followed by further piano house singles that also received editorial placements.^[15] That same year, their music was featured on Don Diablo's "Hexagon Radio"^[16] and received support from artists including Cuebrick,^[17] Frank Walker,^[18] and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.^[19]

Their live performances in 2025 included the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE)^[20] and the "It's The Ship Singapore" cruise festival.^[21] Domestically, they performed at the Global Groove Fes^[22], an event sponsored by the Yokosuka City government,^[23] and at LANA's official Budokan afterparty.^[24]

In 2026, You Liang was confirmed for Miami Music Week.^[25] Their music also received a second feature on Don Diablo's Hexagon label via the "DemoDay Year Mix."^[26]
