Geography
Zindabazar is a primarily residential area which spans over an area of 381.30 ha (942.2 acres), of which 24.1 ha (60 acres) are water bodies.[4]
523.9 hectares (55.6%) of Zindabazar's area is used for residential purposes, 93.08 ha (9.8%) for commercial purposes, 71.32 ha (7.57%) for transportation and communication purposes, 68.87 ha (7.31%) as vacant land, 39.96 ha (4.24%) for administrative purposes, and 17.21 ha (1.83%) for educational institutions. The rest area is used for various purposes, especially for religious and community centers.[4]
The neighborhood is criticised for its mismanagement concerning its water bodies and open spaces.[4][5]
