Ellinjaa is a rural locality in the Tablelands Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2021 census, Ellinjaa had a population of 66 people.[1]
The land use is almost entirely grazing, on a mixture of native vegetation and modified pastures.[3]
History
The name of the locality probably derives from nearby Ellinjaa Creek and Ellinjaa Falls.[2]
Brook's Road State School opened circa 1927 and closed in 1954.[4] It was on the east side of the Palmerston Highway at approx 17°32′14″S 145°39′56″E / 17.5371°S 145.6655°E.[5]
