Emmanuel Maker Lam Patut (born 19 June 2003) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Veikkausliiga club IFK Mariehamn.
Patut played in the youth sectors of Halssilan Nousu and JJK in Jyväskylä, Finland,[1] before signing with VfL Wolfsburg academy in Germany on 10 August 2019.[2] He represented Wolfsburg in the 2021–22 UEFA Youth League.
Club career
Patut returned to Finland after his contract with Wolfsburg expired, and signed with Veikkausliiga club Ilves on 13 August 2022.[3][4]
On 1 February 2024, he signed with fellow Veikkausliiga side IFK Mariehamn.[5] On 15 September, he scored his first goal in the league, in a 2–1 away defeat against Gnistan.
International career
Patut has represented Finland at under-16, under-17, under-19 and under-20 youth international levels.
Personal life
Born and raised in Finland, Patut is of South Sudanese descent.
