The Faculty of Sharia of Fez (كلية الشريعة بفاس; Faculté de Charia de Fès) is a Moroccan public institution of higher education. Established in 1963, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious faculties within the Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University (USMBA) in Fez. It is located on the Saïs campus and specializes in Islamic jurisprudence (Sharia) and its relationship with modern legal systems.[1]
Founded in 1963, the faculty was originally part of the University of al-Qarawiyyin before being integrated into the Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University network. It plays a central role in preserving Morocco's spiritual and judicial heritage while training scholars in Sharia and Law.
