Florence Township is located in Stephenson County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,293 and it contained 541 housing units.[2] The unincorporated community of Florence is located in the township.
Florence is Township 26 North, Range 7 East of the Fourth Principal Meridian.
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 33.86 square miles (87.7 km2), of which 33.84 square miles (87.6 km2) (or 99.94%) is land and 0.01 square miles (0.026 km2) (or 0.03%) is water.[2]
