Franco Catarozzi Parafita (born 2 April 2000) is a Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Remo.[1]
A youth academy graduate of Montevideo City Torque, Catarozzi made his professional debut on 4 February 2021 in a goalless draw against Defensor Sporting.[2] He scored his first goal on 15 April 2021 in a 2–0 Copa Sudamericana win against Fénix.[3]
In January 2025, Catarozzi joined Nacional on a season long loan deal.[4] After playing two official matches for the club, his contract was terminated in July. On 29 July 2025, he joined Liverpool Montevideo.[5]
International career
In August 2024, Catarozzi was named in Uruguay A' team squad for a friendly match against Guatemala.[6] On 1 September 2024, he made his Uruguay A' debut in a 1–1 draw against Guatemala.[7]
