George S. Junkins was an American politician who served as the mayor of Lawrence, Massachusetts from 1896 to 1897.

Biography

George S. Junkins was born in North Berwick, Maine on May 10, 1846.[1] He moved to Lawrence, Massachusetts in 1869.[2]

In 1894, Junkins ran for mayor of Lawrence and lost.[2] Junkins was elected mayor of Lawrence in 1895 and 1896.[3] He served as mayor in 1896 and 1897.[4] He was a Republican.[5]

Junkins died on November 12, 1900 in Lawrence.[2]
