John Frederick Kelly (15 July 1916 – 23 June 1971) was an Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda in the Victorian Football League (VFL).[1]

Professional athlete
A finalist in the 1939 Stawell Gift (he finished fourth),[2][3] he won the Bendigo Gift (also 130 yards) two days later.[4]

Kelly was recruited from the Red Cliffs Football Club in the Mildura District Football League,[5] where he won the 1935 Mildura Junior Football League best and fairest award.[6]
