Jamshoro railway station (Urdu: جامشورو ریلوے اسٹیشن; Sindhi: ڄامشورو ريلوي اسٽيشن) is located in the Jamshoro District of the Sindh province, Pakistan.[1] Operated by Pakistan Railways, it serves as a key transit point for the city of Jamshoro, often referred to as "Education City" due to its proximity to several major universities.
The station is situated on the Kotri–Attock Railway Line, also known as Main Line 2 (ML-2). This line was developed as a strategic alternative to the Main Line 1, providing a route along the right bank of the Indus River. Significant infrastructure development on the Kot Adu–Kashmore section of this line occurred between 1969 and 1973 to improve connectivity in the region.[2]
