Jayezan District (Persian: بخش جایزان) is in Omidiyeh County, Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Jayezan.[3]
After the 2011 National Census, Julaki Rural District was separated from the district to join Aghajari County.[4]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 census, the district's population was 15,158 in 3,110 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 16,833 people in 4,034 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 10,717 inhabitants in 2,856 households.[2]
