Jody Deshawn Owens (born September 12, 1990) is an American college football coach. He is the assistant head football coach and linebackers coach for Montana State University, a position he has held since 2025.[1][2] He was the interim head football coach for St. Augustine's University in 2023.[3] He also coached for Community High School, L. D. Bell High School, Montana State,[4] Nevada, Washington, Briar Cliff,[5] Pittsburg State,[6][7] and the Kansas City Chiefs, Chicago Bears, and Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL).[8][9] He played college football for Montana State as a linebacker.[10]
