Joe Tippmann

Joe Tippmann (born March 24, 2001) is an American professional football Guard for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Wisconsin Badgers.[1]

Tippmann was born in 2001 in Fort Wayne, Indiana and is of German descent.[citation needed]

College career

Tippman played college football at Wisconsin.[2] On December 8, 2022, Tippmann announced his intention to forego his remaining eligibility and enter the 2023 draft. [3]

Tippmann was selected by the New York Jets in the second round, 43rd overall, of the 2023 NFL draft.[6] As a rookie, he appeared in 16 games and started 14 in the 2023 season.[7] He was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team.[8] In the 2024 season, he started all 17 games.[9]
