History

Soribada Best K-Music Awards was hosted by the digital music platform Soribada to celebrate the best and brightest of K-pop releases.[1] The first awards ceremony was held in September 2017 and awarded to the musics released between September 2016 and August 2017.[2] In 2021, the organizing company changed and the award ceremony was revived as the K-Global Heart Dream Awards after the bankruptcy of Soribada.[3][4] In 2024, the awards ceremony was renamed to the K-World Dream Awards.[5]

Judging criteria

Winners are determined through Soribada's internal data, online and mobile votes from fans across the world, as well as ratings from professional adjudicators and critics.[6][7]
