Kashkan-e Jonubi Rural District (Persian: دهستان کشکان جنوبی) is in Shahivand District of Chegeni County,[a] Lorestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Khatereh.[4]
After the 2006 National Census, Chegeni[b] and Veysian Districts were separated from Khorramabad County in the establishment of Dowreh County. Kashkan Rural District[c] was separated from Chegeni District in the formation of Shahivand District, and Kashkan-e Jonubi Rural District was created in the new district.[4] The name of the county was changed to Chegeni County in 2018.[3]
