Khunta was a Assembly constituency from Mayurbhanj district of Odisha.[1] It was established in 1951 and abolished in 1956.[2] It was revived in 1961[3] and abolished in 2008. After 2008 delimitation, It was subsumed by the Baripada Assembly constituency.[4] This constituency was reserved for Schedule Tribes.
The extent of Khunta constituency comprised Khunta police station of Kaptipada sub-division, and Similipal and Kuliana police stations of Sadar sub-division.[1]
