Kingston is a rural municipality in Prince Edward Island, Canada.[4] It is located within Queens County to the west of Charlottetown. The community is mainly farms with a small residential area.

In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Kingston had a population of 1,111 living in 395 of its 412 total private dwellings, a change of 6.1% from its 2016 population of 1,047. With a land area of 48.38 km2 (18.68 sq mi), it had a population density of 23.0/km2 (59.5/sq mi) in 2021.[1]
