Kotaro Tatsumi (辰巳 孝太郎; born 21 August 1976, Osaka Prefecture) is a Japanese politician who serves in the House of Representatives as a member of the Japanese Communist Party. Tatsumi was in the House of Councillors from 2013 to 2019.[1] Tatsumi is opposed to the MagLev system, saying that it is a waste of resources.[2] He was a candidate in the 2023 Osaka gubernatorial election.
