Lyle Latell (born Lyle Zeien;[1] April 9, 1904[2] – October 24, 1967)[3] was an American character actor. He was perhaps best known for playing Pat Patton in the Dick Tracy film series.[4]
Latell was born Lyle Zeien in April 1904 in Elma, Iowa. He married Mary Foy in 1947.[5] He died in October 1967 of a heart attack in Hollywood, California, at the age of 63.[6] He is interred in San Fernando Mission Cemetery.[7]
