Maddison Keeney (born 23 May 1996) is an Australian diver. She is a dual Olympic medallist, winning a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and silver medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. She has also won gold medals at the 2017, 2019, 2025, and 2025 World Aquatics Championships, as well as 2022 Commonwealth Games, and silver medals at the 2014, 2018 and 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Keeney was born in Takapuna, a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand.[3] She grew up in Perth, Western Australia, where she attended Churchlands Senior High School.[4] She attended the University of Queensland, graduating with a bachelor's degree in physics and computer science.[3]
Keeney is also an avid fan of professional League of Legends esports, which was first noticed by former player and caster Marc "Caedrel" Lamont on one of his live streams on Twitch when Keeney posted a video on Caedrel's Discord server from the Olympic Village in Paris during the 2024 Summer Olympics.[5]
