Matovce (Hungarian: Mátévágása) is a village and municipality in Svidník District in the Prešov Region of north-eastern Slovakia.
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1423.
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 196 metres (643 ft)[2] and covers an area of 4.01 km2 (1.55 sq mi) (2025).[4]
